Fatherhood starts with the man. Not with the daughter…

What does my daughter need from me to grow up safely and confidently? What role do I play as a father, supporting my daughter(s) to flourish? What inner journey do I, as a man, go through in supporting my daughter(s) to shine?

Being a father to your children is one of the noblest of missions in the life of a Man. It is your moment to embody the bridge between the knowledge of old, the wisdom of your lineage and ancestors, and the wisdom of the future. Wisdom already present in your child yet still to be embodied and come to fruition. Children that have already evolved beyond us and who, by definition we cannot fully understand nor teach everything.

Having Daughter(s) presents us, men, with different questions and challenges, than being a father of Sons. The Way of Women is different than the Way of Men and the roles both fathers and mothers play in that journey – inevitably – differ as well.

So if you:
– are a father to a daughter or daughters and find yourself asking some of the questions above, or other questions about raising your daughter(s),
– are experiencing challenges in your relationship with your daughter(s) and/or even your partner in this regard;
– feel you need support or council from other men, or would simply like to hear the experiences of other men;
– are open to discovering and learning the lessons your daughter(s) may be teaching you.

you are warmly invited to join us, Harmen and Rutger for a new series of monthly Brotherhood Council Gathering for Fathers of Daughters, starting on December 10. The Brotherhood Council meetings offer the opportunity to learn and grow together in a safe and supportive setting.

The meetings will be held via Zoom. You will find the zoom link in the event and in the description of the WhatsApp channel on our community.

All meetings will start at 20.00 CET/19.00 GMT and end around 22.00 CET / 21.00 GMT.
