How To Join
You are most welcome brother. We know all too well that an experience is worth more than a thousand words. That’s why we invite you to join one or more of the activities listed below.
These activities are all Firemakers’ programs. Born from the tradition, vision and mission of the foundation. And facilitated by men with a proven track record within and outside of Firemakers. You can check the agenda on where and when these events will take place.
Besides that there are of course also the events of our partners. These can be found in the agenda as well.
But there’s more. Because we feel we should meet our brothers more often we have created a WhatsApp Community. It is a no pressure, easy to use, mostly self-explanatory group in which you can find announcements of Firemakers events, a place to chat about almost anything, an invitation to easy daily practices, men’s circles, trainings and maybe more in the future.
We have set this up so you can easily find brothers whenever you feel like it, and you don’t have to wait for the next event or find the needle you are searching for in the social media haystack. It is simple, and we intend to keep it that way. Send an email to contact@firemakers.nl to gain access.
Men's Circles
A safe space for men to come together, to share about vulnerable subjects, to listen to each other and to be who they are. Some circles have a theme, some don’t. Some congregate on a regular basis, some happen incidentally. Some are online, some take place around a real fire.
A 4-day festival for men. Accessible, with depth, in which the process, the journey, happens both individually and as a group. An ideal opportunity to look in the mirror, to discover and celebrate being a man, to meet and recognise other men, and to feel that you are not alone. To feel supported and carried.

Other Events
Gatherings happen regularly. Sometimes linked to a certain time of the year, sometimes to a certain practice, some with another background or theme. These gatherings you can find in the agenda, together with a link to the event itself, to the ticket shop or to another source of information.
Most of these gatherings are for men only. There may be some mixed events in there too. So carefully read the description.
A circle in which you are asked to appear – fully. For half a year, with multiple online sessions a month, in which you are your brother’s witness. Daily check-ins. An intensive program for who wants to explore the depths together.

Pilgrimage
This is a deep dive into brotherhood. Ten days with a group of men. On foot, step by step from departure to arrival. Ten days to be with your process, your goal. And to be able to reflect with and feel supported by your brothers. For if you really want to meet your self.
The Firemakers Year Training “The Path of the Fire Bearer” brings you back to your roots. To your essence as a man, your core. Assisted by a very experienced team of trainers you give yourself a very big gift, for one whole year. Guided by the Wheel of the Year you delve into who you are, what you have to do, how to manifest that and which path you must follow. This training calls for dedication and effort.

In six weeks of online training you experience the basics of a men circle as it takes place in our tradition. And more important: you already make a practical start with starting your own circle. Because we learn by doing. This an accessible training breeding new facilitators for more than 5 years now.
For men who want to step up in men’s work. In the Leadership Council men who want more come together. To take steps towards facilitating, creating, inspiring, supporting. In monthly online gatherings we work towards realising those goals.

Coaching & Mentoring
Sometimes more individual attention is needed. Coaching and Mentoring offer you the space to look deeper into your quest and your individual process. For this we refer you to coaches and mentors within our network.
